Katie is an attorney practicing in Feinstein Doyle Payne & Kravec, LLC’s class action litigation group.

Katie has dedicated her legal career to advancing the interests of marginalized groups and ensuring the fair delivery of justice for all.  In her current practice, she fights to protect the interests of consumers, borrowers, employees, and retirees.

Before joining the firm, Katie worked as staff attorney for the Pennsylvania Interbranch Commission for Gender, Racial, and Ethnic Fairness, spearheading several legislative advocacy campaigns and policy reform efforts aimed at eliminating explicit and implicit biases that exist within the Commonwealth’s justice system. She also previously clerked for the Honorable Oliver J. Lobaugh, President Judge of Venango County Court of Common Pleas, where she worked on a wide array of civil, domestic relations, criminal, and orphans’ court matters and drafted local court rules.

Katie earned her B.A., summa cum laude, from Washington & Jefferson College in 2014, and her J.D., cum laude, from Duquesne University School of Law in 2017. In law school, she served as Executive Articles Editor for the Duquesne Law Review and as a staff writer for Juris Magazine. Katie also interned for multiple judges, state and federal government agencies, and advocacy organizations, including the Honorable Lisa Pupo Lenihan of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania; the Honorable Leo E. Green, Jr. of the Circuit Court for Prince George’s County, Maryland; and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. She is particularly proud of the work she performed as a certified legal intern for Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund’s Name Change Project, helping indigent transgender individuals secure legal name changes, and for Duquesne’s Civil Rights Clinic, assisting in the representation of employment discrimination plaintiffs.

Katie is admitted to practice before the courts of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association.

In her free time, Katie enjoys boxing, playing volleyball, and kayaking. A Maryland native, Katie is also an avid saltwater fishing and crabbing enthusiast.
