Grace E. Delaney contributes collaboration, sincerity, and a tenacious pursuit of learning to herself, her clients, her colleagues, and her community. Her practice protects consumers and insureds.  

Before joining the firm, Grace clerked for the Honorable Judge Rae M. Mims and the Honorable Judge Thomas Pedersen for the Court of Common Pleas, Sussex County, Delaware. While clerking, she worked on a diverse range of civil and criminal court matters researching case law and drafting decisions.

Grace earned her J.D. from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and her B.A., summa cum laude, from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania. In law school, she was the teacher assistant to Professor Marissa Meredith regarding her legal research and writing class. Grace also worked for the Rosebud Sioux Tribe’s Education Department as a legal and policy researcher.

Prior to her legal career, Grace taught lower elementary students at the Sung Bloka Owayawa (He Dog School) for the Sicangu Oyate (Burnt Thigh Nation), Rosebud Sioux Tribe. She remains an advocate for students, educators, and educational policy reform. Likewise, she strives to be an ally to Indigenous Nations and an advocate for tribal sovereignty.
