It is with great sadness that we report the passing of one of the founding partners of this firm, Ellen Doyle, on September 26, 2025.
Ellen’s spirit, never-say-die approach, and guiding star of justice for all must be remembered and the torch she helped to light must be carried on. It is in doing this that we will truly honor Ellen’s life.
Ellen was far more than a founding member of Feinstein Doyle Payne & Kravec. She was at the forefront of fighting for women’s rights, human rights, employee rights, and democracy. Ellen was the greatest advocate and friend for those who needed her the most. She put fear in those who sought to oppress; and her tenacity, intellect, and never-ending pursuit of justice made her successful in the courtroom and the world. Humanity today needs many more like Ellen. Her loss is a true loss for everyone.

Your words put feeling into form– may I too be a Guiding Star for Justice For All where I can– may my life’s work be so bright as to strike fear bone deep into the oppressors and their systems– a light so warm it Welcomes after cutting down those bad ideas born through broken men– rot removed– held accountable for what’s been done– and to what they must do now for righteous repair — pain and suffering shall not guarantee dispair — but a signal for where we must direct our collective care
