The annual conference of the AFL-CIO Lawyers Coordinating Committee (LCC) was held June 2-4, 2013 at the William Penn Omni Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh. Feinstein Doyle Payne & Kravec, LLC was proud to be a sponsoring firm at a reception at the Heinz History Center the evening of Monday, June 3. Attorneys Bill Payne and Joel Hurt are members of the LCC and attended the conference. Bill Payne is also a member of the conference’s host committee.
Over 400 labor attorneys from around the country attended this year’s conference, entitled “LCC 2013: Moving Forward – A Progressive Agenda for Workers and their Families.” Among the speakers at the conference were Senator Elizabeth Warren; AFL-CIO President Richard L. Trumka; Mark Pearce, Chairman of the National Labor Relations Board; and Patricia Smith, Solicitor of Labor, U.S. Department of Labor.
